The Texas Department of Public Safety identified the deceased driver of a white pickup truck that was involved in a crash with two semitrucks on July 7 at approximately 4 a.m. They said the 48-year-old man, from Chihuahua, Mexico, was attempting to re-enter the interstate from the right shoulder of Interstate 10 when a yellow semitrailer traveling westbound struck the pickup. The force of the collision caused the pickup to jackknife into the westbound lanes of traffic, where it was then struck by a white semitrailer according to authorities.
