A young woman was killed in a motorcycle crash in Austin early Thursday morning. APD officers say the wreck was called in around 1:20 a.m. The woman was a passenger on a motorcycle operated by a man, traveling on the frontage road of I-35 north of William Cannon. The accident occurred when they collided with a guard rail and crashed. Investigators believe alcohol and excessive speed may have contributed to the accident. Police have not released the identities of the driver or passenger.
